Because this program is just for the Internet, you won't be able to use Encarta in conjunction with word processing programs or other applications.
Microsoft Encarta has a wealth of information. You have instant access to a dictionary, thesaurus, audio pronunciation and even translations with Encarta Premium. The dictionary has all the basic features like parts of speech, phonetic symbols and verbal illustrations.
You can also choose to find more information about the entry word, which will bring up pictures, articles, maps and more.
This program is user–friendly and doesn’t require hours or even minutes of learning. If you can navigate a website, you can use Microsoft Encarta Right–Click Dictionary.
You can click on any word on the Internet and Encarta will pull up the definition. You can also enter the words into the searchbox and browse the alphabetical listing of entries.
Encarta has over 400,000 entries and tons of articles and pictures. The information is almost unlimited.
